We had Sissy for close to 5 years. She was not just a dog to us, she was our baby and a big part of our family. Our oldest Grandson Matthew thought he wanted to take care of a dog so his Great Grandmother give him Sissy. Her name was Dixie at that time. It didn't take Matthew long to find out it was a big responsibility and mistake. He called and ask his PawPaw if he would take her. At the time we really didn't want another small dog that would have to stay in the house. But of course we told him yes. She could fit in Steve's shirt pocket when we first got her. It also didn't take us long to fall in love with her. Steve said she really looked like a Sissy , so we changed her name being she hadn't yet learned Dixie anyways.

Born: September 29, 2000
Died: June 24, 2005
Sissy got snake bite on our river land where she loved being.
She was mostly always with one of us at all times.
She was not just a dog, But our best friend.
She was a companion when loneliness sets in.
She was our comforter when we was sick--
somebody that lays beside us if you felt bad.
She barked when she wanted to be our protector.
She smiled when you ask her if she wanted to go for a ride.
She loved to ride and jump in the front seat if she thought she couldn't go.
She would run to get her the balls. She would jump on the bed to wake us up.
She slept by our sides when we was asleep. She took naps with us.
She stood in front of us to get that pinch of bread from our sandwich.
She would always meet us at the door when we got home and she wasn't able to go.
She is in all of our pictures and videos.
She always loved family members and friends and they loved her.
She become a part of our life we never knew we had.
She always liked to be brushed and rubbed.
She would roll over wanting for her belly to be rubbed.
Her eyes pierce our heart with love.
She would follow us everywhere just to be close to us.
She disliked popping sounds but adores a gentle whisper in her ear.
She runs in the other room when the vacuum starts.
She shared her life with us. We shared our's with her.
She became our best friend and we become her's.
She treated us with unconditional love just like we treated her.
We Love and Miss Ya Sissy. Ya will always be with us in our heart.
There is no greater love Than the love of a loyal pet and that was Sissy.
